a lot of posters here are insisting that Pac is feasting on PBF's left-overs. PBF fought dlh and hatton before Pac did.

Pac on the other land fought this 2 but overwhelmed them in a fashion way beyond PBF's wins.

and now PBF is fighting JMM who pac fought twice before when he was still in his prime fighting age and skills. He also sent JMM 4 times to the canvass. JMM will be turning 36 a month after he fights PBF so he is in effect 36 years already.

which begs the question, who is fighting whose left-overs. Pac who accused of biting more than he can chew by going up against bigger opponents, or PBF who is going on the opposite, munching on smaller opponents and certainly past prime.

The Floyd-JMM fight is the equalizer. lol

The next question should be, "Who's picking on the lower weight left-over?"

Scat, to tell you the truth, I'm looking forward to the floyd-jmm fight. I might watch it on ppv. There's not anything to do that weekend.

in a way, i am looking forward to it. if jmm can find a blue print to defeat or at least connect against pbf effectively bt i have made my projection. if i remember it right, i see a wide UD or late stoppage/tko for floyd.

would love to see an upset though.

Probably it is better or easier for boxers to go up in weight and succeed than going down in weight and have success.... I think both moves are difficult but most boxers would rather go up in weight and challenge themselves than going down and being weak and drained and therefore lose in a miserable way.

Floyd is fighting for money. He has said this loudly and clearly. Let's not start anymore legacy threads, I think Doug Fischer, who is more than a little biased AGAINST Floyd said it best in his last mail bag in comparing Floyd to Macho Camacho in that they both had superlative fight anyone type careers until Macho fought Hernandez and Floyd fought Castillo and then they chose their paths more about maximising money than taking the best of the best as their early careers did.

I wouldn't be that extreme, Mayweather has acheived a lot more than Macho IMO, but it's a valid point and the same answer in his email puts to bed any rumour of Mosley ducking Money at any time during their career. It didn't happen.

agree on both points. i think pbf has a much better career than macho. maximising money is good but a perusal of pbf career actually made me believe that it is thin in terms of ATG and HOF. just a quick review of top fighters i can think of.

pbf: gatti, castillo, dlh, hatton, corrales, hernandez.
pac. mab, em, jmm, hatton, dlh, throw in larios, ledwaba.
dlh. quartey, hopkins, mosley, tito, vargas, castilejo, jcc, mayweather, camacho, whitaker, sturm.

if you look at it, its only dlh who is the biggest name there. really thin in my opinion.

Pac needs to fight someone undefeated in their 20's. Solis ain't it.

solis was in his 20's and undefeated at 28-0 when they met. the problem with such hypothetical assertion is that it is so difficult to disprove it.

and people put too much respect on 28-0. valero is undefeated and clearly within 135-140 range.

would you fancy him beating pac? he is a champion but defeated an antique 39 year old pituala.
