I can't remember the last time that there was so little hype leading to an Oscar PPV. No one is talking about it, hell I didn't even remember that it was tomorrow until I turned on ESPN this morning.
It doesn't have that DLH/Mayweather anticipation thing to it that's for sure. I'm still enthused though.
It's because people realize that this is not a great matchup. I mean look back at the HBO 24/7 shows. They didn't go indepth of how this fight was years in the making like they can for a DLH/Cotto fight or PBF/Margarito fight because they can't. All they did was try to hide the fact that DLH was much bigger than Pacman. There is no background history that makes this fight exciting.
because the mayweather/de la hoya fight turned out to be a dud plus with this size advantage dlh has, conventional wisdom says this wont even be competitive.
yeah but they can even do that, once you look at both fighters it plain obvious how much bigger dlh is.
