Who is Faster Floyd Mayweather Jr or Manny Pacquiao?

Speed of punch, I'd say Floyd. Number of punches thrown in the span of a second, I'd say Pac.

 

Unless you have a radar gun or something equivalent, I'm not sure why almost everyone is claiming that Floyd has faster hand speed. A video against Mosley can settle this. But for now without any data, I say hand speed is even.

Floyd punches faster than pac but he isn't that far off. Pac punches a little slower but with more power.

Floyd has really quick reflexes while Pac has really good foot speed.

I would say both are even.

I think Floyd has faster hand speed. Pac is quicker on his feet. Defence and ring smarts are the areas where there are bigger differences between the two fighters.

Agility, it's Pac. Floyd's movement and footspeed has really slowed a lot - more so than Pac's.

 

Floyd's excellent timing is sometimes mistaken for speed. I think Pac has faster hands.
