if I take anybodys word out of DLH or JMM, I have to go with JMM, he has been fighting smaller speedy guys, DLH has been at these higher weights for years so when a little guy like Pac fights him of course he is going to say Pacquiao is much faster....
However I also think DLH vs PBF had 10 ounce gloves where Pac vs DLH had 8.

anyhow I trust Marquez's assesment cus he is still at the lighter weights fighting guys with quick hands....

    Floyd definitely gets the edge.

    Hand Speed: Mayweather
    Ring Generalship: Mayweather
    Defense: Mayweather
    Accuracy: Mayweather
    Power: Pacq

I can't wait to see Floyd pull out the secret weapon in this fight. Body work. Pac no likey it.

I can't tell. I would say Floyd. Floyd no longer fights fast though, and pac looks fast against slower guys, but he's fast anyway. Both still have fast hands when you see them in 24/7.

Mayweather's quicker but Pac's faster if that makes any sense...... Floyd's one punch speed is faster, Pac's flurries and combos are faster.

Pac gets hit more, but he throws many more punches than Floyd. Floyd uses defense more so he throws less punches. I'll go with Floyd. Is it me or does pac seem to be faster now than at the lower weights. I never saw pac fight as fast as he did as he did against Margarito. I never saw Floyd as fast as he since he fought Chico. He was fast against Baldomir too.

Good thought. I don't know about flurries, but Pacs combos are faster right now.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgO_WUYExZI[/ame] Floyd has faster hand speed than Manny. Manny's feet are slightly faster but Floyd has better foot work. Agility goes to Floyd. Floyd has that natural upper body movement to go along with his foot speed and foot work. If you watch Manny shadow boxing that head never moves.

Pacquiao definitely slowed down compared to before, I dont know if it's part of their game plan but Pacquiao at the higher weights has not shown the speed he shown against Dela Hoya. (That or DLH made Pac look faster)

Pacquiao's top speed was probably show cased on his 1st fight with Barrera.

I also agree with the previous post
Pac definitely has faster foot speed & combinations
    Floyd has faster single shots

Floyd has better reflexes in dodging punches, and uses these mistakes to his advantage through his handspeed and one-shot rights.

Pac has better footspeed in evading punches, and uses these lateral movements while punching on the move, and will pay you with fast combos.

these great fighters on their own right. no more PED, blood test ****. you gotta love these fyckers.

Floyd incorporates head and body movements in his shadow boxing, mainly on defense.

Manny shadow boxes for handspeed and fast combos, in coordination with his footspeed, mainly on offense.

In his last fight his reflexes looked slow in dodging Shane's punch. Doubt this would have occurred had it been the younger more active May jr.

    Go to :53 secs
