Who is faster Pac or floyd?

They each have a claim to be faster than the other in different ways.

 

Pac, and Floyd cannot exchange with Pacquiao so i don't see how he wins this fight backing up all night.

I am still trying to figure out how this fight plays out, Pacquiao is faster in my oppinion but you can not underestimate Floyd ability to adjust.

 

pac is faster and his punches have some pop on it. while floyd is only fast.. should be a classic fight if mayweather will not run the whole 12 rds.

 

yep. in a countdown - ok guys 3,2,1, PUNCH - floyd is faster, and counterpunching once pbf is faster, but after that it's pac.

 

Practical speed, as in who fights or boxes faster? Pac. The reason for this is simple. Pac can throw more punches in the same amount of time because he throws them from angles and positions that a technically perfect fighter like Floyd would not do. Floyd is by the book, he is a textbook fighter. Floyd's straight right hand is probably as fast or faster then Pac's straight left, but Floyd will not throw together a 10 punch combination in 2 seconds because he is bound by the laws and skills he has been taught since he was a kid. Manny fights faster, but leaves himself open more.

 

:deal This, Pac has the faster hands. Can put 3 punches on you in the blink of an eye. Floyd isn't necessarily slower in this department, but he isn't a combination puncher. I consider Floyd the faster fighter because not only does his hand speed rival Pac's, he's got faster reflexes than does Pac.

^^ this. Pac probably punches faster, especially with combinations though PBF's single shots are about as fast. But PBF has better reflexes and especially upper body movement and head movement, which really helps him slipping shots.

 

Floyd may be very slightly a faster puncher but only because Manny puts more weight in his punches. Money punches to score points whereas Pacman tries to take your head off. Floyd has much slicker and faster defensive moves though.
