Who is your choice as Fighter of the Year for 2023?

I think it's clearly Inoue. What do you think?

Inoue entered the upper division and became the champion by knockout in the first fight in that division. In the second fight in that category, he became the undisputed champion, also by knockout.

In his pro debut, he beat an out-of-shape, lazy, pot-bellied bum and was robbed on the scorecards. Not quite enough to be in the poll.

    What's Gervonta doing there?

And not having Chris Billam Smith in there is criminal.

But of those it's Crawford, easy. There's a reason why Crawford beating Spence drowned out all the noise of Inoue beating Fulton. He made a P4P guy and long-reigning, unified champ look like a chump

Inoue's great, but let's start judging him to the standards we do Canelo. Both his undisputed fights have been against champs without a single defence of their titles. How many P4P guys has he beat? How many HOFs?

Haney has the best wins, Lomachenko and Prograis, while Crawford and Inoue have the achievements, winning all four belts in a weight class. I'm going with the quality of victories and take Haney. I realize there are many who will say Haney lost to Loma but that's irrelevant. In the real world of what officially happened, Loma has a loss and Haney got the win.
