    On the hand he's friends with Crawford

    On the other hand he's competitive and if Canelo beat Crawford then Mayweather can say that he did something that Crawford didn't

    Also if Crawford beat Canelo some would say that Crawford is greater than Mayweather

    Floyd is a narcissist he doesn't really have friends. There is no doubt in my mind that he wants Canelo to win to boost his own ego.

    Black boxers almost unanimously support other black boxers. Floyd may pull for Canelo only to preserve his own legacy as Bud beating Canelo greatly degrades Floyds win.
