The only thing we could argue, from what you said, is that Diaz might be able to make it through the fight without getting KO'ed.

Diaz went out in the 9th by the way. Diaz couldn't take out a 15-5 Montano, so there's no way he beats Casamayor.

People honestly believe they can put Diaz and Casamayor on the same level. Thats shameful. Casamayor hasn't regressed to tomato can level.

that 15-5 montano is also a tough cookie. he has yet to be stopped and that was only a 10-rounder fight. if that was a 12-rounder, he would have been stopped.

i know people will find it hard to believe that casa is now on diaz level. but it is true that he regressed this much. if not, i would not have confidently picked jmm by stoppage. stamina-wise, diaz has a lot-lot more left in the tank than casamayor. i hope casa will fight one more time so that people would see that he really is done. some are even begging casa to retire.

Casa would get beaten worse by Marquez no reason to fight on because he wouldn't win another belt.

    Hopkins
    Calzaghe
    Delahoya
    Casamayor

I basically agree, but I think I would put Casa ahead of Hops.

I can barely remember when I last thought Casa looked at his best (maybe the first Corrales match??). He's been compensating for his decline simply by being an ugly, dirty stinker.

If you say "would've" it means it didn't happen, so its therefore irrelevant. Montano is a "tough cookie"? Please. You're trying so hard to make Diaz look good, that way Pacquiao looks good for beating Diaz. Casamayor is better now than Diaz will ever be. Diaz couldn't stop a completely shop worn Morales who was bumping up in weight to fight him and had been knocked out in 2 of his last 3 fights and had no punch tolerance. In fact he went down and many think he lost. And you're telling me he would knock out Casamayor a full fledged lightweight who hadn't been stopped yet.
