Seriously.. I hear so much about GGG all the time. Its like Bute all over again...
When will we see him in a real fight.

Is Rubio the best he ever fought? The guy lost to pavlik and Anthony Direll..

Boxing today is all about talks. Talks about "what if" or hype. Why? Because theres no good fights anymore. So freaking boring to see all that GGG hype.

I can understand some of the Ward hype because Ward allrdy been in superfights..

    ZZzzzzzzzzZzzzzzz.

I feel sorry for you, if you can't see his immense level of talent just by watching him, then its very possible that YDKSAB. But let it all out, all of those insecurities you're feeling every time GGG's name comes up, the feeling you have in the pit of your stomach that tells you what you are seeing is the real deal and he's every bit as good as he's hyped up to be and that yes he would probably beat all of your favorite fighters for the foreseeable and how much that deeply upsets you. So much so you just want to be rid of this pesky annoyance known as GGG so badly you can taste the acid in the back of your throat from the heartburn he gives you.

So what do you do come up with? The great idea that an average sized Middleweight should move up an entire division to face someone who should have been fighting at 175 for awhile now who also happens to be possibly the best fighter in the world at the moment, without a warm up at that weight, where he'd encounter many disadvantages in both overall size and weight and his power most likely lessened. Wow he must really scare the hell out of you guys if the only guy you think can beat him, is the best we've got whose basically two weight divisions higher than him. You're actually flattering GGG.

    like CST80 already said
I you have seen him in action you should now why he is special.
In my opinion he is the best middleweight since Hopkins and probably the best offensive boxing guy @160 since Hagler

The hype around Golovkin does seem extraordinary. He's been built up as this middleweight monster from stories in the gym that he's become the most avoided fighter in his own division. Sturm, Martinez and now Cotto have all passed the chance to dispel the myth in fear of finding the myth was actually true.

He hasn't fought the best that's true and we don't know if he is as good as many have hyped him to be but he has done his part and lived up to the hype up to this point, he has been devastating in the ring overwhelming weak opposition and even a cynic like me thinks nobody at middleweight can touch him. I can't see Cotto or Canelo beating GGG.

Beyond dominating a weak middleweight division I still remain a cynic. I think Golovkin still has a lot to prove, he could easily move up and face a number of rising super middles like DeGale and Jack.

I think unless Ward can move back down to 168lbs we can forget a Ward fight. Golovkin is too small a middle to jump that high up, Hopkins had the frame to go up, Golovkin does not.

He's been built up as this MW monster because guys at MW have dumped belts, skipped out on purse bids and one guy(Sturm) even paid a couple hundred thousand dollars for a sanctioning body to elevate him, so he wouldn't have to fight GGG.
Blame the other MWs who won't fight him for all the "hype".

This. He's known in the boxing industry as a beast hence so many fighters avoiding him. I remember Anthony "The Man" Mundine was his mandatory a few years ago & Anthony "The Man" Mundine didn't make any offers & refused to turn up to the purse bid

It's not his fault he's avoided but hey, let's demand he jump 2 weightclasses & fight Ward because he's a coward :-(

That's the most remarkable thing about the hype it's gone beyond the fans and actually champions are believing it and ducking him.

I mean Lacy was hyped but Calzaghe wanted the fight and so did Kessler and it's not like Lacy was a big draw then, so it's not even the money that was an incentive.

Bute was hyped as well, Ward deferred the fight for weird reasons, but Froch had no problems taking the fight.

Kovalev was hyped, seen as a killer, but Hopkins took the fight, even though it paid less than Stevenson.

Says a lot about the fighters who stepped up and a lot about the fighters who stepped aside.

GGG is a guy with genuine ELITE skill coupled with monster power.
In boxing today, he'd only lose to Andre Ward at 168lbs, but GGG is a middleweight through and through, not a super middleweight.
Quillin is too scared to fight him and this is a known fact. Cotto doesn't want to fight him, Martinez went into retirement to avoid fighting him, but thankfully the missing beltholders Lemieux and Lee are willing to fight him. Cotto will be scared into retirement and will vacate, allowing Golovkin to unify.

I dont have anything against GGG as a fighter with talent. Just all that hype. If he is so great, then theres no need to hype him, is there? Offcourse he has talent. Thats a key for getting professionel. Some talent is needed. Some has chin, some has a good KO punch, others have good movement, and some have the whole pack. Lets just hope that GGG will fight some name.. even a old man that had a name once. I dont care who. Ill be impressed even if he fought a retired Kessler...

He's the main character in a famous Kazakh nursery rhyme

    'Triple G pudding and pie
Called out ''TBE'' and made the Flo-emos cry
When Triple G said how's about you and I getting it on some day in a respectful way
''TBE'' hung up his gloves and ran away'

The poor little butt-hurt Flo-emos still haven't forgiven him for calling out their messiah to this very day even though it's literally been hundreds of years since the call out. They'll still be bawling their eyes out about it hundreds of years from now.

Cue wave of tears from legions of butt-hurt Flo-EMOS with references to their new messiah and saviour SOG blah blah blah :rofl

As you were, ladies. Carry on about your business. :rofl

He's already been in a "real fight" and CRUSHED the opposition.

Macklin gave Sturm hell and won that fight, GGG bodied him.

Geale was a former champ, he got kayoed.

Murray beat Martinez, he got years shaved off of his life.

    Cotto is ducking him.

    Quillin is ducking him.
