joppy, johnson, holmes, eastman - jesus ****ing christ, they would all be considered bums on calzaghe's resume and rightly so. don't make me pick those 4 fighters apart for **** sake :nut

trinidad and de la hoya belong in the group of fighters who had no right fighting hopkins at the weight they did when you look back at their careers. its like considering pavlik and winky wright as great light-heavyweight for ****s sake.

nice comeback btw about the strap on :D

glen johnson still fights at the top level today, joppy and eastman where both solid middleweights.

trinidad was a HUGEEE favourite for the hopkins fight, no-one gave him a chance

lmao i actually laughed out loud when i typed it, my fiancee asked what was so funny then went "oh, that boxing **** again" lol, fukin wench haha.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Glen johnson has lost 13 times, don't tell me that name would stand for anything on joe's resume. joppy and eastman are solid but hardly big names.

trinidad was a good win but what are trinidads best victories in the middleweight division?

he was unbeaten when hopkins beat him, he then went on to beat clinton woods, roy jones jr, tarver, montell griffin, eric harding, yusef mack. plus his losses have mostly been very close. he went life and death with dawson in the first fight.

he destroyed the wba champ, william joppy he was expected to destroy hopkins also.

man **** VCash do you get boners when u win VCash or something bringing that **** up like its your income.

Would you also say Calzaghe ducked Pavlik?, Calzaghe ducked Froch?, Calzaghe ducked Dawson?

A real duck(avoiding another fighter) is:
    SRR ducking Burley
    Bowe ducking Lennox
    Leonard ducking Pryor

BHop in 2001 was P4P number 2 (P4P number 1 in 2002), Calzaghe wasnt even the best SMW he was 1 behind Ottke according to the ring, and you want to say that the P4P number 1 avoided the number 2 SMW (according to the ring)

having zero vcash means your thick as **** :deal

bhop was offered $3m which is triple the amount he was making at that stage of his career. hopkins agreed to the fight, then at the last minute, after agreement had been reached, he doubled his demand to $6m which was obsurd. he ducked joe calzaghe - simple as that :deal

calzaghe was prepared to go to hopkins back yard and kick the **** out of him and bernard shat his pants :deal

    I don't take orders you stupid *****

CALZAGHE SMASHED HOPKINS WHEN HOP WAS PRIME, UNDERSTAND??

Dawson, Johnson, Jones, Collins, Toney, Nunn, Pavlik, Taylor, they all ducked Joe because Joe would smash all of them, this isn't idle speculation, this is scientific fact.

I don't know, but what is very telling is that you're the only one on this thread that has responded to truth. It's quite easy to see why I am not a Joe Calzaghe fan anymore and haven't been for a very long time.

You CANNOT give credit for Hopkins losing to a fighter. That is NOT part of his resume. This is where people **** me off, in this case, Oscar De La Hoya is #1 ATG resume.

Prime Roy Jones - lost. Prime Jermain Taylor - lost. Prime Winky? Winky at 170lbs was prime? Prime Tarver? Prime Calzaghe at 37?

Hrrrm. This is why I just don't rate what anyone has to say about Calzaghe when they rate Hopkins as the better achiever. They have to come up with **** like this to do it.

Oh please, people are giving Hopkins credit for fights he lost for ****s sake.
