Holmes reign as champion was quite exciting mostly becaue he had major limitiations.

I recently watched the Snipes fight and it is an outrage. Holmes is getting battered from pillar to post until Don King orders the ref to stop Holmes from taking any further punishment by stopping Snipes (at least after the Andrade fight Bute looked embarrased). He then had the temerity to make those Marciano remarks whilst defending his title against novices and ducking Page, Witherspoon, Thomas and Dokes all of whom would have beaten him handily.

Thanks Larry for an exciting career but you could'nt carry Lennox'........

True i was just using turning his way of thinking back on him:lol: There are certain fighters Holmes would have beaten more decisive than Lennox, and vise versa... Lewis had big power so there are certain guys he would blow out..

I disagree with the Holyfield comparison though... I think Prime Holmes would have decisevly beat the faded version of Holy that Lewis fought... Even an Old Holmes was very competetive with Prime Holyfield. And past it Holy came back to give Lewis all he wanted in a razor close rematch ( i had Lewis by only 1 or 2 points).
