I think you would have to wait until Manny's career is over as he still has a few fights left in him.

If he beats Cotto then Mayweather, I would say he is better.

Duran. No doubt. He beat Ray Leonard. Manny will never fight, or beat, a fighter of the calibre of Ray. If he faces Mayweather, a guy who's one or two levels below Ray, he'll lose.

In terms of accomplishments, it's Duran again.

Duran was FEARED in his time. Outlived many of the boxers of his era and still won. I don't see Manny winning without his speed. Duran fought and beat Leonard in his late twenties or early thirties. I can't see giving Manny the deal unless he beats Mayweather and Sugar in two years.

Duran imho. More names in his resume plus the fact he's an all around bad-ass. He knocked out a bull for pete's sake.

But if Pac beats Mayweather, who is today's Sugar Ray Leanard, then the question really comes to the fore.

Gotta wait till pac's career is over. He can still pull stuff to be on top.

Duran had the opportunity to fight more than a hundred fights. He was a slugger who brought action in the ring. He's great. but that's how a fighter becomes great at that time.

Manny's special. started off light and young and went on to jump weightclasses all the way to welterweight, winning 6 titles in as many weight divisions. He's got an impressive resume at 50plus fights. It's difficult to become great among contemporaries while you're still active. Easier to be great when we get old and wrinkled and remember the old days.

Both fighters fight everyone people throw at them. I'd say both can seat beside each other as equals.
