hmm lets see. Gayweather beats people in SEVERAL weight divisions ABOVE him, several of them. Albeit some cherrypicking on the way, yet no losses. Hes like Bruce Willis in that movie UNBREAKABLE. NO matter what extra weights you apply, he still benchpresses them......

Vitali gets beat by those who come from SEVERAL WEGHT DIVISONS BELOW HIM (haha wtf? that sounds so crap when you compare it to Floyd), so Vitali is really the opposite of Floyd, hes the anti-Floyd, the guy who gets beaten by those coming up the divisions. Vits gets beat going down the weight divisions! It would be the same as a minimumweight guy coming up and beating lightweight Floyd! Unthinkable!
Vits is essentially the crippled bad guy from Unbreakable weak enough to get taken out by little guys.

and cherry picking? yes far more, but still Vits loses compared to Money who doesnt.

On one count Vits is superior, the young Vits had more balls than young Mayweather, in climbing into the ring to get the **** beaten out of him by an ATG (albeit an old one).

But go figure, these guys are opposite poles of the spectrum H2H, and are not close in terms of legacy. Vitali has at least Floyds longevity, that's the only thing they share.

Oh yeah and the other thing vits is better at probably is politics, and hes also has a clean image, not like Money.

    What a sick thread...
Floyd has met and beaten nothing but the best three divisions has had to offer..
Vitali has met and lost to Lennox Lewis and Chris Byrd...

    Thread closed.

this place never fails to be crazy.

what ever any of us think of Floyd, it's clear as day he's far more proven than Vitali could ever care to be.

so the people picking Vitali are nothing but loony in the head.

The thread was meant as a parody of those this trying to pick and choose fighter just to make Floyd look bad. I just reversed if using one of their favorite fighter to make a point. And the thread is far from being closed looking at the poll. I just finding funny no one picking Vits is saying why he's greater.

    Mayweather >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Vitali

The hatred on these forums for Mayweather is palpable... so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Mayweather is a doucebag and brings the hate on himself. But to deny his greatness is moronic.

I think Vits is hugely overrated but even now, who is there to challenge him? The division stinks and he wouldn't lose to anyone but his brother.

Yes, Vits likes fighting smaller guys. He quit against Byrd and never rematched him. So sad. :-(

Even Byrd knows better than that. Byrd would have no chance against Vitali or Vlad, in fact, Vlad beat Byrd two times and very convincingly.

    Think about that.
