I think that recent developments in the Ukraine and Vitali choosing to stand up and be counted when he could easily have stayed in Germany and enjoyed his fortune prove that there are relatively few men greater than Vitali.

    Vitali's resume makes Floyd's look like Ali's.

ahhh, well, Gandalf the White is greater, Worm Tongue Grima. No man is greater than the WHite Wizzard!

Yet his resume sucks too, 1 controversial win (Balrog) - 3 losses (Sauron, Sauraman, WitchKing)

LOL! Comparing either Klitsho to Floyd Mayweather is like comparing Putin to Bill Clinton.

Not if there were some incredible shrinking machine and Vits was the same size as Floyd. May weather would beat him 12 rounds to 0. About as plausible as the time machine theory nuthuggers use to claim Vittles an ATG, huh?

The little guys fight far more skilled fighters and do so without pronounced physical advantages more times than not. Its been that way historically and will always be that way. Talent in the heavyweight division is dwindling. After Wlad is gone it will be worse than ever.

I'd take any Ali fight (and he did have some boring ones) over any of Wlads snoozefests...see Povetkin. Let me know when a heavyweight fight today can stack up with Ali-Fraizer 1 and 3, Foreman-Lyle or Holmes-Norton. You can't. Now, go use your magic time machine and vivid imagination to fantasize how your heroes would have done in truly great eras.

Get back to trolling son because you don't have the brains to debate me!

surely you mean its a shame that vitali CHOSE a 4 year layoff, he wasn't robbed of the 4 years or forced to do it.

4 year lay off, who does that willingly anyway.

Its a sad testament to a posters ability to debate when he has saved another posters weak post from years ago and has to copy and paste it in some false hope a newbie will buy into it. :-(
