This kind of post only shows hoe accurate and how stupid people could be. Here somebody said that he has not seen wlad be rocked as Floyd was with Shane and that explain that wlad was better. I have read stupid post but this could be the most stupid of all my life. One good punch can finish a fight and that did not means that a fighter has bad defense. That happens only when people want to be stupid by be stupid. Mosley punch 2 hard shots, and when Floyd was rocked how many more punches Mosley give clean to him??? Go and look and the round again. Clean punches Mr blind. Almost all the punches that Floyd takes are not good clean shots. Or it was that you abandon the fight right after 2 punches, because after the last punch he never score a clean punch including the rest of the round even when Floyd was rocked. At this point Floyd was not running not taking the offensive, after the shots Floyd lose his caution and takes the offensive and defensive mastery to the next level and the rest is history. When a read this kind of stupid things it seems to me that a fight for some people are only 2 shots and not 12 rounds.

Wald has not fought anyone with the quickness to go upside his head, if Corrie Sanders was to come back in top shape and young again or the Haye fight was made, he would be getting hit pretty often. Floyd is elusive, he's not relying on his height or reach.

Anyone that voted for Wlad doesn't know **** about boxing, Wlad has fought no one with skill or talent , and while Mosley was old, he is still far better than anyone Wlad has ever fought.

  7. wlads been knocked out multiple times and has been on the canvas over 10 times in his career floyds never been knocked out or down and vitalis also much harder to hit then wlad with his lean back style

oh ok you meant over the last 4 years......

    STILL FLOYD.

Look wlad hasnt faced anybody who is a threat over the last 4 years. Thats not HIS fault. hes just been too damm good for those average opponents out there. But like i said he is hard to hit because of his height and reach and limited opposition.

Floyd Mayweather is a defensive genious. He has faced tougher competition than wlad over the last 4 years. Im not saying hes been fighting the best out there or anything. but Hatton and de la hoya are probably better opponents than any1 wlad has faced over the last 4 years. AGAIN im not calling wlad a bumm or anything im just stating a fact. Its not wlad's fault the competition has lacked lately.

anyways floyd is harder to hit than wlad. A fighter with good head movement and quick feet could get inside wlad and hit him. not saying he would KO wlad or anything but if a fighter had the tools and balls he would hit wlad. connecting with floyd is a much much harder task

bretchko. your saying wlad is WAY harder to hit, because floyd got hit ONCE flush in the last 4 years?!?! come on.

Wlad hasnt had the chance to fight anyone as good as mosley/hatton/de la hoya in the last 4 years! and of those 3 opponents, floyd has been hit just ONCE flush?

Even samuel peter in 05 gave wlad HELL. And peter isnt on the same level as those 3. so i have to respectfully disagree

But those fat, slow, or small guys aint hitting him either. Wald is MUCH harder to hit imo. Part of it's good matchmaking/tailor made opponents and part of it's his ability to use his size advantage effectively. Tony "the Tiger" Thompson didn't have the explosiveness or athleticism to really do any damage, but he was a decent sized southpaw. And you saw how tough that fight was for Wlad, even though Thompson had no power.

Floyd is still a better fighter pound for pound, but Wlad has proved to be VERY difficult to hit these days. Floyd's defensive skills are superb. He was hit by Marquez and Mosley, but he fought both guys when each of them had P4P #2 and #3 arguments in their favor (back then). Wlad doesn't fight anyone with that kind of quality. He hasn't hit the deck in a while, but that's because his hapless opposition obviously can't get to him. To his credit, he will move, turn his back, tie up excessively, hold his jab out there, etc...anything to not take a meaningful shot. The man is getting results, whether we like how he does it or not.

Haye aint hitting him either. Wait and see. Haye will land nothing of significance on his way to getting stopped. He's too small to do anything about that 1-2 and hold from Wlad. Jab, Jab, Jab, HOLD and walk him back to the ropes, rinse repeat. Then, a right hand or left hook when the opponent is tired from all the holding, leaning, and jabbing. It works very effectively for Wlad and he hasn't lost in years. Can't see anyone out there getting around his tactics, aside from Vitali.

U got a good point about the difference in quality of opposition. But since Peter 1 in 2005, Wlad has not taken a single hard shot.

The end result shows that Wlad is harder to hit these days. He's had more fights than Floyd over the past 6 years too, even though Floyd's opponents have been much better in quality (though they could've still been better).
