Exactly. And when it is announced I am done with Haye. I've defended him and been a fan of his since before he turned pro. I hyped him up when he turned pro and told American posters like Kirk to watch out for him. He has never taken the easy route and took risks as a Cruiserweight, so I truly believed him when he said he would fight a Klit within a few fights. I backed the Valuev move and I even accepted Ruiz. But he has behaved like a total joke since that fight. His excuses over being quiet after being nothing but a loud mouth, trash talker for 2 years are pathetic. To sign with the joke Harrison is an insult to boxing, the real fans and everything he said he was bringing to the division. **** him if he signs this. I'll support Harrison even though that delusional clown has no chance and I would hope a big internet campaign to boycott any PPV for this sham fight would at least damage sales somewhat. Povetkin or Adamek are all I would accept, with Adamek the best fight for exposure, fan base etc. If he fights Adamek then fine, he is still an idiot for the silence, but fair enough I want be disgusted with him. If it is Harrison as it looks like it will be, he will rapidly have gone from most British fight fans favourite to a joke in the fastest time I have ever seen. One look at his facebook page shows what actual boxing fans think of this.
We should probably just wait and see, especially since Haye didn't actually deny it. He has not come out and told his fans that he is not fighting Audley. He simply told him to bugger off on Twitter and made a vauge statement about how he'd kill him if he ever did actually fight him. In short, Audley should definintely be an option on this poll.
it would be cool to see him KO Solis' fat a$$ too. Some of these boxers should be fined for coming to the fight visably overweight. Hahahaha
Spot on. It's risible that so many Haye fans fall for this guy's BS over and over again. They call him a marketing wonder, but really they're just gullible. Haye and his juvenile tactics are as transparent as cellophane.
Weren't there rumors that Haye was hurt after the Ruiz fight? I wonder if there was any truth to that. It may explain the silence and time off. It would also explain any reluctance to fight the true destroyers in the division.
Dimitrenko is Ukrainian btw Haye is probably targeting Rahman, another over-the-hill former beltholder. Low risk, decent reward for a "smart businessman" which Haye claims to be.
I think that Audley tops his lists. Valuev is out of the picture with that surgery. Other possible opponents are: Hopkins (the GBP connection), Meehan, especially if he KOs the dreaded Evans Dimitrenko - why not since he is not a threat Ustinov - very good choice since he is completely untested
Adamek would be my choice, but I think he will fight Harrison. All this twitter crap is building the fight IMO. Haye could hve just as easily said 'not fighting audley in November, opponent announced next week' or something like that. The medical bill jibe is just the start of the 'bad blood' IMO.
Bang on, everybody knows he can't fight one of the brothers yet and most fight fans would settle for Adamek to tune himself up in this division but it's going to be Audley. Will be a joke of a fight and if it is the 13 November that will be almost exactly a year since he danced around Valuev and opened a few eyes. In a year he's gone from hot property to a laughing stock.
