de la Hoya shamelessly RAN from Trinidad for the last four rounds.

    Tito absolutely deserved the decision...

Good question and a difficult one to answer. 2 great fighters.
I always felt De La Hoya deserved the win over Trinidad and the rematch with Mosely, the first was close.
I couldnt really place one above the other, they were both ATGs

Thinking about it a bit further, I will say De La Hoya for his work at WW and below, but it is extremely close and I wouldnt argue too much about it either way

Trinidad is my favorite fighter of all time, but I think DLH never gets enough credit for his work under Welterweight. Molina, Paez, Hernandez, past-prime Chavez, Ruelas were good fighters. And every fighter drains down in weight like crazy, so why should DLH suffer for what every single other fighter except Pac and Mayweather do?

Yes.We have seen it so many times, you do not win major fights like the way DLH fought. He ran for 4 rounds, and in the 12th literally turned his back and ran from him. It was a joke.

    Sturm won that fight, easily.

I think DLH has the slight edge, not a lot in it tho.

I didnt like what Oscar did in thatfight, and for the running he did in the championship rounds, he AT WORST deserves a draw. Tito didnt do enough to win IMO.

Oscar NEVER beat Trinidad or Mosley. Nobody was talking about Whittaker, Chavez, Lewis, or Holyfield.

    Keep it in conext...

It was the last three, but he was outboxing the **** out of Trinidad the first 9 rounds (as far as I can remember, I haven't seen the fight in a while)...do the math.

Funny how you were pretending to be impartial up until your tourette's outburst here.

Anyway, we both know its not as black and white as he lost all his big fights when he clearly DID NOT.
Also, ten titles in six divisions would make any boxing fan rethink the knee-jerk critique you just made.

You know what i mean, genius. Im simply using your logic here (or what it seems like)

Oh and Martinez vs Cintron was a DRAW as well.

You know, unless you actually watched those fights.
