30 rounders were common in the old days of boxing. Clottey got hurt alright. Bruised forearms and hurt to the body. If Clottey wasn't feeling Pac's power, he wouldn't have been so afraid to open up and throw his punches.

I like watching good technical boxing!!! While manny has become almost perfect in his technique now, i think my preference for floyd comes from watching pacquiao at SFW. I never rated Pacquiao right from the day he ''beat'' Marquez. However, he has grown better and more stable (obviousely :patsch) and so has my appreciation for his skills

Pacquiao is exciting, Floyd isn't. The end.

I like them both actually. I just never for the life of me ever once thought that the pacman i loved at 122 - 130 would be in the mix at 147.

And mayweather beats pacman guys. sorry.

I admit I didn't read your post and voted Mayweather thinking it was with respect to them fighting.

    Pac is way more likable.

Mayweather. He's has a style that's admirable, and he's technically superior. Besides why would I pick a foreigner over my countryman especially when my countryman is the better fighter?

How the hell does this thread - which has a poll that has been posted time and time again get 150 votes (as of 11:22 pm EST), and 4 pages of responses, but I post I make that asks a legitimate and interesting question about boxing gets only 6 responses (despite the fact that well over 200 people viewed the thread)?

I voted for Pac, by the way.

    If you like boxing? Mayweather.

    If you like fights? Pac.

Mayweather kicks Pac's can 11 out of 10 times. Once for Pac just thinking about fighting Mayweather.

I did one thread asking if certain fights that are for infamous for being stopped should have been stopped...I thought, with so many boxing fans in here, I'd get lots of feedback, but, nope. 6 out of the 200 something people that viewed gave a response. 6! There have been more. At times, I'll post a thread that took a lot of thinking...I expect to get a lot of feedback, but, nope. Maybe I'm not well known enough on here...who knows?

Floyd at 130. Above that, probably Butterbean.
