Who is James Degale???

super middleweight and no way is estrada beating degale, degales 1 or 2 fights away from the elites.

 

His a good Super Middleweight prospect ranked 5 by the WBO, who recently beat the 29-1 Paul Smith.
He looks good he's an Olympic gold medalist so it is promising

DeGale is more comparable to Mayweather when he was making the transition from an offensive to defensive fighter, if anything. I don't think it's a good comparison, but it's better than a Calzaghe one.

Calzaghe was pretty much a swarmer. DeGale is a counter puncher.

 

He is a future SMW World Champion. This kid has a great future.

 

Very talented SMW prospect who developed somewhat in the pro ring the past 12 months, he's my prospect of the year. Ridiculous handspeed, top notch ring IQ, very elusive, developing power, a total package in the works. A bit of a Roy Jones in natural talent and a bit of Ward/Mayweather in boxing skills and some illegal tactics.
