How was Ruiz ranked in the top five and Wallin, Pulev ranked in the top ten? Is this your ranking or the body rankings beause they never make any sense anyway and aren't worth citing
Ruiz was ranked in Top 3 actually after he beat AJ, after Fury and Wilder. Wallin was ranked Top 10 in both The Ring and TBRB (Top 5 actually here) when he fought AJ. Pulev was ranked Top 10 by TBRB when he fought AJ.
A 39 year old injury layoff, Covid-having Pulev wasn't a top 10 competitor in 2020. Go check his record. A prime Otto Wallin was NEVER better or more proven than Chisora, so whatever nonsense coalition of "journalists" that had him in the top 5 (LOL) has no credibility. Do you believe he was top 5? He wasn't even in the top 10, and if you believe he was, please post your top 10 at the time of the fight. Regarding Ruiz, you don't get credit for beating a "top 3" opponent when the ONLY win in the top 15 they have is...you, in your last fight. Joshua dropped, Ruiz didn't suddenly vault up to top 3. Needless to say, the Chisora of Fury-Chisora III beats this whole lineup. That's right folks, a 40 year old Chisora would be Joshua's best win in the past 7 years.
I'm referring to Ruiz's top 5 rating. Which was only the case because he beat Joshua. Joshua subsequently gets credit for beating a top 5 guy. 'Ruiz easily, rankedn in the top 5' - your words.
There is no such things as prime Wallin. Wallin can’t fight. I’ve never seen him throw a punch. Pitty patty straights don’t count. Oh and the answer is Ruiz.
so... body rankings. Means nothing as they're always out of whack. WBA had Marc de Mori in the top 10 two years ago
But what are you arguing exactly here? These are clearly 3 best guys AJ beat after his loss to Ruiz. Nobody argues these are great victories, lol. But for the sake of the argument, I don't think Chisora would be a better win than Ruiz. Ruiz destroys Chisora if they meet right now.
He wasn't protected from those two, he was pretty batantly avoided. They sent offers to Wilder but he turned them down. He signed to fight Fury but then Fury was forced to fight Wilder, then when they had a chance to fight again Fury kept making up stupid deadlines, and then when it seemed like it might happen this year Fury 'retires'.
Does it ever strike you as odd that you've been told elite prizefighters "avoided" a fight in which they could make the most money while taking on riskier opposition? Have you ever really sat down and thought about it? Give it some consideration. You may be surprised at the reasoning you're capable of.
That's clearly not what I was referring to. I was referring to the reasoning you offered in support of it.
