Clev was the bookie's underdog for most of the build up, by fight time both were 10/11 at most bookies.

I had him in an accumulator with Enzo Mac and Barker :tired

Darren Barker becoming Middleweight World Champ last month as a slight underdog vs Geale?

I notice that was left off the list

    Froch is a top fighter.
Brook might become a top fighter.
Haye is probably the best HW excluding K2.
Barker picked up a MW title and there are some very good UK challengers for him.

I agree Khan is finished at the top level, he will lose to Alexander. Cleverley and Burns have had good runs but will not progress from their current levels. Price was never a top level fighter although he did show potential.

Look at who they fought, and fair to say that although they shoud have one champion less at lightweight, they should have one more at 160.

MW, SMW and HW are actually reasonably strong divisions for UK.

But if they weren't pro boxers you would say "the dirty Irish Gypos are coming..."

I agree with this thread as a brit but

ive got high hopes for gavin, groves and frampton.

we do have mcdonnel and its not beyond the realms of possibility, that degale will win a world title.

Most people on here knew Mitchell was going to be KOed by Arreola.

And it is laughable to say Chisora did anything in that fight but be a punching bag for a 41 year old fighter. He might have won 2 rounds. That is not being competitive.:rofl

The difference here is us 'Yanks' don't hype our fighter to the moon like you Brits do. Never have I seen a fighter as hyped as David Price and he was exposed as a Glass Jawed joke just like all your other fighters sans Froch are. The UK is called the Isle of Glass Jaw for a reason.

All your champions get KOed when they step up above British Domestic level :patsch

Burns isn't glass jawed either. Even though he was beat, still got a good chin.
