Mosley is on the news yesterady openly calling out Pacquiao.

My guess . . . it's either Mosley or Valero. Valero is an Arum fighter. . . isn't that right? :D

read an article on Valero's website that part of the deal when he signed with Top Rank was that he would get a chance to fight Pacquiao.

Pacquiao said he will wait for Mayweather/Marquez before deciding his next fight so I would expect him to fight the winner of that one.

Somebody should just call Top Rank and ask them.

So that scheduled October fight is canceled? I would really like to see Pac fight Berto and try to win a title at WW which would make the PBF fight more enticing.

I doubt they'll go very far for an Oct tune up fight. Arum seems dead set on the belief that Pac is THE main draw in boxing (he may be right) so don't be surprised if he tries to pull a David Diaz here.

do not mention the word "tune-up" in manny pacquiao...he doesn't need one...such a great fighter who only looks for big fights

No offense but I don't understand why the majority are clueless in this discussion. Didn't Roach already announce even BEFORE stepping in against DLH that after that fight they plan to campaign at 140 and STAY there?

He said that MANY times after the fight as well and constantly repeats it for people that easily forget. Their last announcement was that they plan to wait for Marquez/Mayweather before announcing their next fight, that came after both Cotto and Mosley admitted they won't go to 140 but would rather accept a catchweight, Roach reminded them again that it's not going to happen as they already said before.

Yeah that David Diaz was a beast.

Basically the fight in October *unless it's against Mosley, Floyd or Cotto* will just be a pocket padder for all parties involved. Someone inside Top Rank whose more deserving of a fight than he is good. Basically a road warrior getting a bone thrown at him.
