Now that the fight if off rumors are all over the place as to Mayweather's next opponent. Who do you think would be a good competitive keep busy fight for Mayweather at WW. Mixing the perfect amounts of entertainment and danger to the bout. IMHO...

Tim Bradley - Has stated he is more than willing to come up
Jose Luis Collazo - Deserves the payday and interesting due to Mosley and Berto match-ups.

Remember you have to think it through. Don't just throw a name out there knowing damn well the guy has no chance of making the date. :good

    Paul Williams
    Sergio Martinez
Cotto- hard to make but a good fight none the less if cotto has something left in him.
    berto/mosely winner.

That's about it, he should fight a real contender...WW and up.

None of this Making Jr. WW go up to fight him, like Bradley..

Although Bradley would be a typical move from MAyweather, so his fans would probably accept it.

them two are at 154. i

he should fight before mosley, call it a tune up if you want, but he might as well stay active.

i think the best option is either zaveck or bradley

Again I said THINK about it first.

Paul Williams - just got schooled. He will be back in the gym for a while.
Sergio Martinez - Did the schooling, but isn't even a WW.
Cotto - He just got destroyed and his Dad just passed. Not even mentioning the corner issues that need resolving.
Berto/Mosely winner - That is the NEXT fight.

    Think about it first!

Well then I say Cintron...safe, easy, true welterweight win then move on to either Berto/Mosley winner or Pacquaio if things work out next time around

So far we have "do nothing" and a bunch of guys who make no sense?:huh

He has committed to the date and Pac fans and haters say he won't fight a "real" opponent... Who would that be? Sound off!

My list is Williams, Cintron, Collazo. Williams is a much bigger fight that Duckiao/Clottey, but Cintron and Collazo are just as respectable as a Clottey IMO if not moreso.
    This content is protected
He has to fight a natural welter or bigger.

The one you chose is the NEXT NEXT fight.

Mayweather is commited to the 13th.

There is nothing anyone can suggest that is something that Mayweather would take for the 13th.

    Bradley-campell-collazo- cintron- hatton- PAULIE????

Come on there is nothing he can possibly do that a boxing fan will respect other then Williams, Martinez, BERTO/MOSELY.

    Your god DAMN! right!

He cannot do it again.... If he has to pull out the 13th date just to wait for a real welter like MOSELY/BERTO do it for boxings sake or his fans... HE cannot afford to fight someone that makes their career in a lower wight.

To be honest i'd be happy with Cintron or Bradley, followed by Mosely in summer. This is the guy who announced his comeback to upstage Pac, he is not going to be upstaged in his opponents now either. He came back and weight aside fought the widely regarded pfp no 2 so he is not going to fight a bum. It would not surprise me if he waited till 31 jan and lined up the winner.
