honestly, he should fight bradley. noone out there is more deserving than him. i'd love to see bradley face off against the winner of urango-alexander, or khan-maidana but he wants to move up, i say make the fight!

    Is he light Middle weight?

    Same as williams and Martinez?

I guess Mayweather wants a Light WW then...

Cintron hasn't done anything of note at 147 except lost to Margarito in a while. He also has been at LMW for 3 fight. Can you drop your reasoning on this?

You like him better than Collazo?

I think we got our signals crossed. My bad if I wasn't clear. I meant it as there is THIS fight (March 13th) and the NEXT fight is the winner of Berto/Mosely.

Like I said, don't throw names to throw names. Look at the landscape camp issues, schedules, last fights, etc... THEN provide a VIABLE opponent for March 13th.

So you would be satisfied with any top 10-20 (by Ring or boxrec) ranked WW?

Could you give your reasoning on the first two?

Williams and Martinez are not WW. Basically they would be weight draining and fighting the #2 P4P fighter at a weight neither of them has been at since 2001 for Martinez and 2008 Williams.

The bottom three on your list are the only viable opponents.

I'd want Cintron at LM not 147 or catchweight. Right or wrong i blank all Margarito results. I'll give him his due if he comes back impresive but for now i dont include his results.

I am not saying Cintron is a world beater but how many had him to beat Angulo? I think he is on a par with Clotty level maybe a bit ahead so that would give him the nodd in Floyds eyes. Why would he fight Collazo a Hatton victim?

    I understand what you meant.

The thing is no one can really provide a viable option for Mayweather there really isn't much he can do in terms of proving he is a great welter weight. Yes he can keep himself busy with smaller fights and give us a little taste of his boxing skills and keep his fans happy with another exhibition like marquez. But who really wants that?

His most viable option is just forfeit the march 13th date. Let Pac get HBO for Clottey-Cotto.. 2 months later maybe In May fight Mosely/Berto Winner and he can fight Manys number then and prove to people he has balls.

Knowing how Arrogant mayweather is, he is just gonna go to the smaller fighter. Bradley-campell on the 13th.

He would surprise me with someone like Williams-Martinez.

There is really no one available to fight, Bradley would give him the most problems I think but he's a light WW, he's in a no win situation if he wants to fight march 13th

I see what you mean. You could have a point too in that he jumped up and snatched DLH's strap at 154. Then again, with all this weight hopping, up is just as good as down. I would like to see him get it on at WW. I just don't see anyone viable.

Did you see that fight? Collazo was robbed. Also, Collazo had a good fight against Berto and went the distance with Mosely. It would be a nice teaser to see how FMJ stacks up against a common opponent. Also, I don't see power as the only answer. Cintron just ain't slick. IMHO, Collazo is.

People seem to be knocking Mayweather for not fighting a top WW in March even though there isn't any available.

Whats the reason to have a meaningless fight at march 13 when you can fight the top guy at welter a couple of months later, its just ridiculous.
