I dont know why you guys think fighting the Mosely-Berto winner is such a good idea, that would mean FMJ will have been inactive for far too long, those guys will need a decent rest if its a gruelling fight, he needs to fight as close to march as possible in hope of keeping this MP-FMJ fight on the right track at SOME POINT this year.

He should fight Williams, then preferably MP but if not, then the Mosely-Berto winner & then MP before the year is out, those 3 fights back to back can accomplish everything that is wrong in his life all in the space of 1 year.... the supposed financial worries, the cherry picking accusations & a complete recovery from the huge black mark that he & MP have against their names as a result of the collapse of their march mega-fight.

Although I've said some mean things to kermit ,He is far from being safe given the situation he is in now.Granted he is the closest you can get to being a girl, he just beat Angulo ( I know, his raw but still ) and if GIVEN the chance, this will be cintron's last chance for mainstream success. Not to mention his height and power will give mayweather all sorts of problem. I can see Cinton beating pbf, only if he fights like the bigger man.

yeah and I'll tell you why. If Floyd moves up and outboxes Foreman or Martinez and wins the belt, then pacman will have to fight him at 154lbs for HIS title :rofl I know how these ****ers think and I can see this happening and possibly stopping the September fight as well. Let's see Pacman, Arum and Roach agree to any weight above 147 AND the blood tests :deal

I think it is just such an amazing venue that nobody wants to see the revenue disappear. I am sure "Money" needs the money too! :yep

He will probably fight Nate Campbell.

I can feel that. Disagree a bit about Williams, but I see where you are going.

    Why Martinez?

I feel Foreman would be nice due to Pac turning down the fight.

No way Mayweather attempts to compete on March 13.He would get his assed kicked on viewership vs the Pacman-especially against oldie Campbell.

I think he would beat Martinez and he would get alot of respect among fans for taking that fight.

I am not trying to start a flame war, but honestly I don't see Clottey winning. I say this as a big Clottey fan. I also see it as an "in camp" fight shielding Manny from scrutiny.

I am NOT saying it won't be a decent fight. I am saying winning it changes what? It is the reason I have this thread because FMJ seems faced with the EXACT same situation. A meaningless fight.

I can see where you are coming from and I feel somewhat the same.

From my perspective it would be a good fight, but I really want to see him in there with WWs.

I do not want any guy weight draining himself for a payday either.

i think martinez is the best name on the list. but i dont think floyd will move up. his two priorities are pac and winner of shane/andre both them fights would be at WW so i think thats where he'll continue to fight

Very true. Resumes a little light. I think that would make Pac's fight even more meaningful though. Clottey is a bit more "field tested". I think that pushes the 13th in Manny's favor.

You know I respect you dude, but you keep coming with the BS. :huh

Listen man the Pac fight has NOTHING in it for Manny to gain. It is a decent fight, but what does it MEAN? If he beats Clottey what? Mayweather is keeping the date per his people. So we are working from there.

I am saying FMJ fans AND Pac fans put your heads together and talk BOXING. With Pac out of the picture give me your break down of what would be at least and equivilant match-up. I am asking YOU to play matchmaker. Quit playing emotionaly teenage girl.

This is EXACTLY what I have been saying!!!!! The lay off is too long.

You really think Williams can reliably make weight? I agree with the next two.

So assuming the news is true and he will, can we get your analysis for viable opponents?
