Mayweather vs. Campbell is pathetic. So was an attempt to fight Paulie, T. Bradley, and M Hatton. Mayweather is looking terrible and like a friggin chicken ****.

If he insists on fighting on march 13 that leaves the Mosley-Berto winner out,Williams also seems to be out cause he suffered some cuts and apparently needs some time to heal.

Other than Pac those two are the guys i want to see him fight but since their not available for one reason or another, then my preferences would be Martinez if he wants to fight at 154 or Collazo if he wants to fight at 147 i think both guys style would give him some trouble and would make for an interesting fight.

My last choice would be Bradley but that is most cause i want to see Tim get a big payday cause nobody deserves it more than him.

Mallignagi,Campbell,M.Hatton and fighters of that ilk shouldnt even be considered as possible opponents and would be clear examples of cherrypicking.

    Vic Darchinyan.

Southpaw titleholder with a big punch - perfect preperation for Pacman.

I'm not sure on this, but will Martinez or Williams even be cleared to fight on March 13 at all?

That was some rock solid analysis man. :good

I also see it the same way with Williams. I completely agree with the Collazo fight. I don't see him going up to fight at 154 unless it is Foreman for the "Pac was scared" boast after. (You know he would go there.)

I think Bradley's speed, age, and fighting spirit would be fun to watch in there. I also agree with the payday argument. I feel the same for Collazo.

I agree that the last three you listed would be BEYOND meaningless. Pac would be planning how he spent that 60% split for the winter fight. :deal

seeee when ya get off the hate you are an ok guy.

i think it's clear. people wanna see him at 154 against Martinez.

at 147, collazo is due to fight that turk so thats out. i think bradley will handle the weight well an it'll be competitive. cintron deserves a payday but dunno if he can make the weight again.

malignaggi or campbell, i'd watch anyways.

if it is m.hatton then i will be by your side calling him every name under the sun lol

    whats your analysis?

who you wanna see, put neck on the line an name 1 fighter, and why. well 1 for 154 and 1 for 147, cos it depends on which weight he fights at

Man I gave my options when I opened the thread, but I have heard some great reasons and have to expand my list.

Collazo - I like the dude and like the shared opponents with Berto/Mosely.

Tim Bradley - I think speed and effective boxing is more dangerous than size/power for Mayweather.

Yuri Foreman - Nice that Pac turned him down, but not as meaningful as Martinez.

Anyone else I feel is kind of a garbage fight and make Manny look that much better. I think Manny put Mayweather in a tough spot by taking on Josh Clottey. There is no shame in fighting Clottey even with his cons he is a solid dude. As a career chess match? Manny just put Mayweather in "check".

would've been check was it not for the 144 issue.

i think bradley is tougher than collazo at 147. unproven yes, but collazo has shown he can be beaten, bradley has shown he can adapt. i see size being no issue here.

martinez is a really tough fight, and i think the risk outweighs the pro's. to jump up from 146, to 154 then back to 147 against the best WW out there isn't smart.

any decent name will be ok providing he does get winner of berto-mosley to sign.

What's wrong with 154lbs? Floyd demanded that he and Pac fight at 154lbs so Floyd is ok fighting at that weight.

Financially- Perhaps a built up fight with Luis Collazo in either Atlantic City or NYC.

Best Fight- Cintron-Mayweather would be a fun fight, Cintron is a big puncher vs Mayweather whose defense has never been cracked.

For the smaller guys going up in weight to fight Floyd at 147lbs, you will say that size is not an issue. Yet you complained that Williams and Martinez are fighting at 154lbs. Let Floyd fight at 154lbs. Size is not an issue here.
