i think the better question is that after marquez who is mexico's numero dos? marquez is already tuning 36 and i still don't see a young successor for him as far as being a possible top p4p fighter in the current crop of mexican boxers. we see donaire already in the top10 p4p being the logical successor to pac. but as far as mexico is concerned, there is no young mexican elite fighter at present who is a clear-cut successor to jmm.

humberto soto already lost to guzman and i don't think he will ever reach elite status. you've mentioned a lot of names there and some i know like antillon, ortiz and jcc jr. but these young guys aren't elite level yet. jmm is already pushing 36 and spent more than 12 years already in the ring. that's why i'm surprised that these younger fighters haven't reached elite status yet. that's why i gave the example of donaire, already an elite fighter being the logical successor to pac. just wondering why it's taking the next generation of mexican fighters kinda a long time to develop into elite status to replace the old guard of jmm, izzy and rafa.
WTF was your point douchebag? We know JMM is #1, most people know that, as the poll clearly indicates, but WTF is all this about being the ONLY one? He is NOT the only one, he is just that much better.
I think he means that there aren't really any elite mexican prospects close to the level of those past boxers, after Marquez who's the next mexican elite superstar? Only Victor Ortiz comes to mind, but I don't know if he's completely mexican or just half or whatever.
