Hagler never put on a pair of boxing gloves again from what I read. my vote is for him.

 

I would say Joe Frazier. He's still bitter up to now after several decades.

What does "more better" mean?

 

Since none of us personally know either one of them,It's diffucult to be certain who is more bitter.But I am certain that Marvin has a helluva lot more to be bitter about.Some examples are worth mentioning:A)Marvin being left out of the middleweight champion picture by Don King because he wouldn't sign with him,which meant that an inferior fighter such as Hugo Corro became the beltholder long before Marvin did.B)Hagler not getting his title shot until,what(I just don't remember exactly which one but I know it was a ridiculous and undeserved wait),his 48th fight?And when he finally got his shot,it was declared a draw even though everyone that saw it felt Marvin deserved the decision.C)Marvin kicking the **** out of betting favorite(in England) and racist Alan Minter in London,and instead of being able to celebrate the victory on the scene,having a shitload of miscreants bombing the ring with beer bottles.D)The entire sickening Leonard situation that lasted over the better part of 6 years.All in all,I'd say Hagler has a lot to be bitter about.

And he deserves to be. People never gave him the respect he deserved.

 

Totally agreed. Hagler did not have the public image of SRL - a smooth, gregarious black American athlete. It is almost the case of Ali vs Foreman image wise (I said almost, so none you Classics guy better get your panties in a bunch).
