Pavlik's come forward style is a good style match-up for Calzaghe

At this point in his career, Jones is the most dangerous --

No one expects anything out of him and he's going into a fight as an underdog ... he's still Roy and will go out to prove that.

He's coming in to whoop behind ...

Odds are RJJ will look good in the early rounds, and be spent by R5

    calzaghe beats both anyway.

I never heard of RJJ fading in the late rounds ... he's a gym rat and is always in good shape.

Calzaghe isn't that type of fighter to pressure and constantly put hands on Jones ...

It would be easier for Calzaghe to fight Pavlik who's going to be right in front of him and comes straight forward.

His legs have been looking pretty stiff lately

Thats all you can come up with? ... Great answer buddy !! :-(

His legs aren't looking stiff ... he's been looking the same he has been over the last 20 yrs ... when you can hit a guy with 3 straight punches then pivot out the way before your opponent can react.

Roberto Duran had heart, Roy doesn't. A rather crucial omission from your post.

This almost too close to call for me, right now I'm picking Jones. Here's the thing even though Pavlik is the younger and more active fighter he didn't look great in the Taylor rematch.

I'm not trying to come-up with anything, that's all I see. Calzaghe may even win this one by stoppage.

Pavlik by a huge margin. This is 2008, not 1998.

exactly!!! only calzaghe fans say otherwise because they try and justify his choice of opponent
