Wladimir Klitschko - High KO ratio - Occasionally fights low caliber opposition - Only goes for the kill when he needs to - Clinches and hugs a lot - Rarely gets hit clean - Best jab & straight in the business Floyd Mayweather - Defensive wizard - Occasionally fights low caliber opposition - Rarely goes for the kill - Embarrasses opponents with his speed - Rarely gets hit clean - Shows the true art of hitting and not being hit Who would you say is more of a 'fan-friendly' type of fighter?
Not sure what you mean. If you mean "friendly", then Vlad. If you mean "more fun to watch", I say neither. If you mean "talented", then I say Floyd.
people tend to forget that younger Wlad was a beast, and he either got the KO or got KO'd younger Floyd was also a beast, especially at 130 and 135, it's only when he moved up did he adapt a defensive style for the boxing casuals, it has to be Wlad, since he usually get's the KO sooner or later, to the boxing fanatics it's Mayweather with his brilliant defense and skills
Do you think casuals prefer seeing KO's than a boxing masterclass? I guess they would just wanna see brutality. But Mayweather is the biggest name in the game and doesn't have many KO's on his resume. You get what i mean?
Mayweather's technical prowess is more aesthetically pleasing but that's not saying a lot. Wlad possesses no grace. I might go with Vitali if he was a poll option.
Vitali is fan friendly though, Wlad and Floyd get a lot of stick about being boring so im interested to see who the general consensus consider better to watch. 1 guy with lots of KO's or 1 guy who out hussles opponents
Well lets say a newbie to boxing wanted to watch some videos. He gave you nothing specific to search. Out of the two, which career would you introduce this newbie to?
I agree the old Wlad was fun to watch. But after Sanders and Brewster exposed he didn't have the chin or stamina to go toe to toe. Steward showed him how to cheat.
