    When I was a kid we used to see Bruno driving his kids to school, we waved to him and he always waved back. He seems like a nice guy.

    Bruno - I cried when he got knocked out by Witherspoon (I was only 12!)
    Never screamed as much at the telly when he rocked Tyson (1st fight)
    Though I am a fan of AJ too

    Bruno’s charity actually sponsors my sons football team…which is nice!

    It was 37 years ago so I'm 48 (v nearly 49)...that's young still right? I have a vague recollection of him fighting Bonecrusher 2 years earlier too, but didn't cry!

    12 million Brits watched Bugner v Bruno on free TV in 1987, AJ has never had that kind of exposure, Bruno had his own "spitting image" puppet, One of the most-watched shows of the 1980s, Spitting Image satirised politics, entertainment, sport and British popular culture of the era. At its peak, the show was watched by 15 million people. Bruno`s first fight v Tyson is one of the most famous fights in British boxing history, Tyson was a global superstar, a lot of Brits had never heard of Wlad when AJ beat him. Like Henry Cooper before him, Bruno has remained a popular celebrity with the British public following his retirement from boxing.

    The genuine love and adoration for Frank from the British public was second to none.

    As far as overall heavyweight popularity is concerned, the current crop are no where near what Frank achieved. No where....

    This sums it up. There is nobody near Bruno in terms of popularity. There is no sports person in the UK that could do this.

    Look at the disgraceful treatment of the most respectful, humble, likeable, and fearless warrior in the game King Usyk by AJ and Belly. They're a pair of national disgraces and I'm genuinely embarrassed at the disrespect shown towards Usyk by my fellow countrymen and I know many others feel the same way too. Big Frank would never treat Usyk or any other fighter like that. That's why the people loved him and it's also why the people love Usyk. Because when you walk in the light of truth and love the people will shine the light of love on you. That's what I'm talking about. Real talk.
