Who is more overrated & underrated? Floyd Mayweather, Jr or Manny Pacquiao

IMO Mayweather is underrated by general fans and Pacquiao has been overrated.

Mayweather is underatted. If for what ever reason his carrer were to end to day he's pretty puch inside the top 25 and in the conversion for the top 10. If no dubble standerd is applied to him.
Mayweather has done everything asked of a pound for pound great. He's won championships in five weight classes, he's considered widely to be the best ever in one of them (130). He has a solid resume that at the very least s better than the other guy's. He also has spent signifent time as the sport's pound for pound best.
He's critizied for not fighting guys who had no bussnis in the ring with him Cotto, Margarito and Williams and for taking on better boxers in adjcent weights De La Hoya and Hatton. And of course for Pacquiao's refusal to fight him.

Both are overated and under rated just depends on who you ask, so I'd say both are both, if that makes sense.

Floyd is severely underrated and it aint even close.

Pac i do think he deserves to be rated higher ATG wise but i honestly dont believe these two are that far apart. I have Pac 25 and Floyd 35.

Fantasy fights...sure i would pick Floyd against anyone from 154 down today.....but u can also say that of Pac....so that fantasy king shyt is garbage because who would you pick against these two to win from 154 down?

Fantasy fights against past ATG's i have not seen anyone of these fighters when all the matchups against the past ATG's in fact they actually get so badly beaten in them you would wonder if they are even any good.

I'll say Pac overrated because i have seen MORE of his fans rank him Top 5, Top Ten, Comparable to SRR, Some aregue he actually can take over SRR spot. I've just seen more of this stuff about Pac than anything on Floyd. So thats why i say he gets overrated.

To flat out say PAC is under rated or Floyd over rated as individual exclusive ideas, with no real disclaimer or justification, is not sensible.

 

Manny Pacquiao is the MOST overrated boxer I have EVER seen. Floyd is only underrated by the media that hates him, and the people who by into that bs, which ironically are the same people who tend to place Pacquiao's pedestal higher and higher.

But everybody who's somebody knows whats up when it comes to Floyd. All that bs goes flying out the window as soon as the betting odds go out for his fights.

The way I feel Pacquiao is so media built and overrated are the very same reasons I can't praise certain boxers waaaaaay before my time. It's like how do I know they're not a media creation too. Somebody born 20 years from now will probably view Pacquiao as what he was built to be and not for what he really is.
