about the same. pac has slightly lost speed and stamina and floyd reflexes came down a notch and now he is missing more and getting cought.

in reality , it would make it a more exciting fight than 2009 where i would think would have been more one sided

Agreed, more concerned on judging since I don't see knockdowns or a stoppage

Only fouling I can foresee is Floyd elbows

Technically Floyd because he is older. However Manny didnt think about his health too much

I don't think that its because he got hit. I think that because his legs are slow. I can see them move. He still has very efficient footwork that creates the illusion of quickness but actual quickness is not there.

I saw him grab it. Just watched it again. His balance still looked a little shaky. He did like 3 hop steps on one leg, fell back into the ropes, then walked back to the corner using the rope as balance for a few secs.

Yeah, who knows what would have happened if it was a little earlier in the round where Maidana could attempt to finish him. I honestly don't think Mayweather would've dropped. That punch right there should've knocked him out, and he seemed fine after he sat down.

I can't imagine being hit by that. It would hurt so bad, lol. Full force, right to the chin... geez.

Floyd has taken the best anyone can offer when it comes to a Sunday punch landing on his chin. Pac can't say that lol..

you see that's the problem because it's all subjective.. i didn't see any declined.. are you saying to me your eyes now is speedometer? lol...

stop this nonsense! theoretically, they both declined! but to say one declined more on the other because of this fight or that fight are just bs!

for me, it's an early excuse already!

Exactly. One declined because of age, and the other because PEDs are out of the system.

honestly, this past their prime stuff is probably greatly exaggerated. If a fighter takes care of himself and works hard, he can be formidable at 36-38, i think past 40 is when you start to slow down...

Take Klitscko, he's older than Floyd and toying with opposition. Bernard? fighting at 50?

Marquez looked stronger than ever at 40 when he KO'd Pacquiao.

I recently watched 4 of Floyd's fights - against Castillo, Judah, ODLH and even though Floyd was much younger, i really didn't see much more speed or physical prowess back then as compared to Floyd vs Maidana.

Pacquiao looked very good in his last fight... I think these guys right now are very very close to when they were much younger because both work hard, live well.

They both looked really good in their last fights. The point is they have both looked iffy a couple of times in their last several. They are both now inconsistent, when in their primes they were entirely consistent one fight to another.

Granted they both know what this means and will bring their current best into the ring, but their current best just isn't the same as their prime best anymore, for either of them.

It would make logical sense for Pacquiao to be more declined as he's had more fights and taken more damage, but I thought he looked a heck of a lot better in this last fight then Mayweather did.
