it depends with the whites/europeans probably-froch/loma/kovalev/ggg/canelo. with the blacks-may, ward, hopkins, canelo. puerto ricans-Cotto
I'd say Golovkin. He seems to get a lot of favorable views on the Ring's website. Plus, only the Fl()mos really seem to hate him. Lomachenko a close second at this point. Even though Kovalev has the resume, it feels like he's at a plateau in regards to his popularity. I just feel he should be a lot more popular than he is; although, he's supposedly the most watched fighter this year (IIRC).
Probably Hopkins. Age thing is a big factor. Foreman was huge with both hardcore and the casual fan base when he came back. I will probably get **** for this but it will never be a White foreign fighter among U.S. fans. It is still considered sacreligious to support those fighters over American fighters. I support E.E. fighters but I am not a brainwashed sheep and have always thought for myself.
To be honest, not even a lot of the hardcores watch the lower weights. ****, on another site, I've posted a lot of threads about the flys and down and no one really bothers.
actually I see tons of white americans supporting ee fighters these days, way more than the black ones forsure. especially GGG.
Hopkins for sure. Only hardcore fans know well enough how unbelievably insane what Hopkins was/is able to do in his age.
Kovalev and Golovkin...........................they are exciting and know how to box as well, awesome power...............
