In the US, it's Lesnar by a mile. He's a household name from being both a WWE champ, as well as a UFC champ. He also has a enertaining personality, something Wlad does not have. World wide I dont know, because I could only speak for my country.
Lesnar is popular, when he was wrestling in WWE, and now UFC. Klitschko is popular in the boxing world. Lesnar is more popular IMO.
WWE or WWF? Kids all over the world seem to love it. The "wrestlers" are known in the UK and even in places like India.
I first read about Karelin,16/17 years ago only from articles in the sports press.I have never once seen him wrestle on British television. I would never have heard of Fedor without the internet. How can you compare his level of fame to that of a Pele or Maradona? :?
UFC is a joke in no other sport could you be performing in the WWF in one minute and in the next be the HW champ of the UFC.:rofl That right there tells you that the sport has no credibility and the skill level is extremely low. Can you imagine how much boxing would get bashed if Brock came to boxing and KOed Wlad? **** Lesnar he's more popular with WWF fans and wanabe tough guys.
Lesnar is more popular in the US, but both Wladimir Klitschko and Fedor Emelianenko are far more popular internationally. Lesnar's biggest paying crowd has been something like 11,000 people. Wladimir has come to the United States a number of times and fought in front of more people than that. He has consistently sold out 20,000 seat arenas in Germany, and just put 61,000 people in Schalke.
You are dumb The UFC is even more popular in Canada than it is in the USA. Everyone knows Brock Lesnar.
