    For pure boxing, Rigo.
But as an all round package, it would be an insult to Ward and Hopkins to even mention Rigondeaux in the same breath as them.

In terms of pure boxing skills it's Rigo. He's probably top 5 all time in that regard. Hopkins is a tactical genius and when you mix Hopkins and Rigo together you get Andre Ward.

Ward is highly skilled close, mid & long range, rigo is only good at mid & long range but mostly long range. B hop is good close mid & long but he loses to most skilled fighters. Ward has out roughed the roughest out toughed the toughest out meaned the meanest & out skilled the skilledest. Rigo may look like the most skilled because he makes fights look so effortlessly beautiful & easy like floyd. But ward can fight like rigo if he wanted to but he likes to fight & he likes to get dirty. That's what makes ward more skilled imo because he can fight in many styles plus he can switch hit & that what you call skill.

In terms of boxing from range Rigo is the better pure boxer than Hopkins and Ward.

But Hopkins and Ward at their best maybe more complete fighters with their inside game. So in terms of a complete skill set Rigo is behind Hopkins and Ward but is still the better pure boxer.

The problem with Hopkins is that he uses the butts and play acting in conjunction with being extremely skilled.
