Ortiz is at fault. He headbutted Floyd to begin with. Then he spend too much time touching gloves and leaving himself open.

mayweather.... the reason being is. floyd had the fight in the bag. he was completely in control. ortiz was clearly desperate and needed to resort to underhand tactics. he had nothing to lose so he might as well get dirty. floyd ****ed everything up with one moment of rage!

i guess that nasty streak is part of the reason he's so great but that was just pure idiocy.

i just hope ortiz doesn't get labelled the victim in this! because he acted like a dumb **** too!

    Ortiz
Rule #1 in boxing is protect yourself at all times. Not to mention he could have been dqed for that blatant headbutt.

Mayweather ruined this fight with his sucker punch, TNB style. Ortiz was proving to be a tough fight for froyd , too bad it had to end that way.

Ortiz for starting this mess. He just landed a good punch to the chin of Floyd and backed him up to the ropes. Headbutt was totally uneccessary. I don't think Ortiz had a chance to win, but could have made the fight interesting if had kept the pressure on and kept it clean.

I see your point but the ref. cannot make Ortiz put his hands up. Had that been a guy like Oscar in there who headbutted Floyd or Mosley, thier hands would have been up at the time Floyd threw that left hook and then the right. the left hurt Victor because when Floyd threw the right Ortiz should have seen it coming, but he was already dazed. I do believe Floyd should not have thrown the punches just so he would have had a legit win over Ortiz. This way the win isn't too great.

ortiz started it with a dirty move.

    the ref should've regulated better.

floyd ended it, but it was in poor taste. you can't argue that.

just shitty all around. ****in sucks to be a boxing fan right now.
