They cannot make it a titlefight, what if Kessler where to lose that fight, then the WBA title is not up for grasp in the finals.

I guess I had a different concept of "ruined". JT can only be resurrected if he does well. Abrahm is really stepping up the competition level. He could be irrelevant by the end. Same as Froch, though he is a little older. Kessler I think has too much talent to be ruined.

I agree on the trinkets as a boxingfan. But for the marketing of the tournament to the average viewers around the world you have to fight for the titles i think.

Ok, thanks. Was surprised to hear that as I know how much Froch values the belt and the title. Still I suppose he values 7 million quid a whole lot more :p. Looks like it's kicking off for Froch in Nottingham. Dirrell isn't going to have too many friends there, it's a pretty tough crowd.

Against Europe? Its every man for himself. Ward has to fight Jermain Taylor and Andre Dirrell in rounds 2 and 3.

OK. Give me your projected finish, one through six, and tell me what you think the final standings will be?

Y'now Jermaine Taylor is the most naturally gifted and talented out of all the opponents. The guy with the most skill and the fastest hands. He also has a wealth of experience fighting the best.

His weakness' are his stamina (which can be fixed if he has the commitment) and his heart (can you give a guy hunger when it's not there?)

If he can find some way to aquire the stamina of Joe Calzaghe he could win the tournament. Don't forget he was showing his higher class against Froch for most of the fight.
