Canelo vs Benavidez would be a great fight that I would favor Canelo in.

He's way too small for 175. I think his reputation as a big time dehydrator / weight cutter followed him from his sub-160 days but the truth is he's not big even for 160. Stylistically, I'm hoping Benavidez at 168. Any big name that isn't Ward or Golovkin would do it for me.

I can see Canelo moving down either to unify or a big money fight. They did mention it may be hard to go to 160, with that I think that if the opponent is bigger than the title e.g. GGG, they'll want it at 168.

    Bivol - no money
    Beterbiev - no money
    Golovkin - too old
Ward - never happening, no way. He's retired mentally, physically, and financially. His body language and everything he's said in the couple of years is of a man that has hung them up. I don't hear any regrets, pining to lace up, or any signs of financial difficulties.

Smith makes the most sense financially. It basically provides three huge markets in GB, US and Mexico. If they staged this in England it would be huge.
