Chagaev does not have the wins Peter does, no doubt he's more skillful but until he gets actual better solid wins on the board then he's not going to be my #2.

Chagaev does have better skills than Peter IMO but he pulled out of a unification bout with Ibragimov, fought a lackluster fight vs. Skelton, and now he wants to defend against Krasniqi who just lost by TKO. Those aren't the makings of a Champion.

I've moved Peter past Chagaev based on Chagaev's lack of wanting to be unified or fighting the best available.

I have to put Valuev number 2 at this point. Peter is a bit over rated. He's fighting old wased up fighters trying to claim something big. And you know how bad mccline is and he almost had peter out and would have koed him if his stamina was not so bad.

Peter should be number two based on accomplishments (beating Toney and Maskaev), but he is not number two based on talent. Chagaev and Ibragimov could almost certainly beat him.

Chagaev or Povetkin would be #2. I think Haye, Virchis or Vitali would defeat Peter too.

Peter, of course. He was ALREADY #2 and now has simply solidified that. What the hell has Chagaev done to deserve it over Peter? This is really no-brainer.

Chagaev has beaten Valuev, Virchis, and Ruiz. IMO, these three are better than Peter's the best three wins.

I think Chagaev is #2 for now. Peter is #3.
