Who is number two in the heavyweight division?

Why are people picking Peter over Chagaev.

Chagaev has the much better resume and is more sound technically.

 

He has fought at Heavyweight, and KO'd Tomasz Bonin in 1 round. Haye should fight Sam Peter for the WBC Heavyweight Title, and KO him.

 

You mean Peter's claim to fame is getting a one-sided beatdown without getting knocked out while practicing his awesome rabbit punching skills against Wlad plus beating ancient, slow and china chinned Maskaev plus losing to old, obese and decades past it Toney plus beating him in a rematch? That's great. I'm not saying Chagaev is all that but his skills and his resume are miles better than Peter.

 

Steward said the punches Peter landed on Wlad in there first fight were not fouls, I will take his word over yours anyday. Peter is the now the nuber 2 guy for sure, before the Maskaev fight, I had Chagaev slightly ahead of Peter, but after the big knockout win over Maskaev, Peter took the 2 spot with force.
