You just inspired me to re-watch his fight with Rungvisai. Just finished it. Man, what a destruction. The commentary is kind of funny too. The entire fight, Sergio Mora can't stop talking about how much harder Rungvisai hits... as Bam is hurting him over and over while tanking the (very) few good shots he lands without issue.

Rungvisai was shot with 60 fights, inactive and 36, and was a complete stationary target the whole fight. He was basically a punching bag, but when it comes to Bam all those things are ignored. The glazing for this kid..

Defo not aj, he’s ok offensively for a current hw, but nothing to write home about when looking at the whole sport.

im tellin you, this kids a thoroughbred. he rarely loses rounds. edwards was my test for how he would do against a guy with great legs and defensive awareness. bam made that ring tiny in no time. forced his range on sunny. only thing left for me to see is how he recovers physically and mentally when hurt bad and has to come off the mat. skillswise, nobody can touch him on his way to inoue. hopefully he fills in naturally in the next year and maybe monster in 26. we will see if the train stays on track. boxing is a fickle sport.

Estrada knocked Bam down. Was a flash KD, and Bam was laughing when he got up, but it did happen.

That fight was the only time I’ve ever got my wife to root for an American over a Mexican.

yeah, those are bound to happen to happen to offensive fighters against top opposition. had no real effect on him other than lighting a fire under his ass. i was surprised that was the worst of it in the fight. i thought gallo was going to put some questions to him. kid left no doubt. made it clear a rematch would change nothing.
if he can unify 118, the inoue fight would be the biggest fight in boxing. one for the time capsule.

I'm heavyweight minded, so he was the first to come into my mind when in comes to that division. I may be wrong.

Gallo’s liver says no thanks to the rematch.

I believe unifying 115 and then 118 are the plan. Then chase Inoue. So, agreed. I think Bam’s frame/build means he’s not going to be moving up the way Pac and Mayweather did, and his style (relying so much on that footwork) isn’t conducive to fighting into his late 30s, so if everything goes his way, maybe the career goal is to clean out and unify 3-4 divisions then get out on top. There’s no way he’s going to be able to be in there at age 40 changing angles constantly like that.

So if he has no speed, and has to depend on skill and power.......He's better than other fighters who has speed along with skill and power?

i think the fuss theyre gonna be making about him over the next 2 years is going to get ridiculous. if anybody thinks im puffing him up too much now, youre gonna hate where this is going in the next couple years.

People mentioning massive weight bullies who beat up on nothing but leprechauns, domestic levels, washed leprechauns who were deemed bums way back in their primes by the same people who cite them as great wins for their favs now, and then when said weight bullies move up up and start facing opponents their own size, even washed versions of them, the KOs dry up and they don't look near as destructive as they did down in Leprechaun Town

Opetaia or Innoue for me. When Canelo gets serious and starts fighting top guys again, i will consider him.
