They always intended to fight the winner then the loser of Bradley v JMM. What if JMM loses his next fight (which is possible)? Does he really take the Alvarado fight even though he has lost to both Rios and Prov(badly)?Who does Bob have lined up as plan B? Please do not say Floyd because he has never ever been on that shortlist since 2009.

    Who you got?

*please no ******* v ***** stuff . . . I am really curious what do they do if JMM loses

Cotto is not going to happen because Cotto already said he's not going below 154 for Pac.

Marquez is ideal, but probably wont happen because he's satisfied with that win, and I doubt he wants to give that up.

Martinez I wouldn't be on, because of the size difference. It all depends how he looks. If he looks great then it wont happen.

    Realistically, it'll be Pac/Alvarado or Pac/Bradley III

Pacquaio vs Martinez will be the most historically significant fight of the 21st century. Truly truly amazing.

I think if Cotto wins against Martinez (big "if") then he's in a good position to get a rematch with either Pac or Floyd. Presumably either fight would be at a catch-weight just above the Junior-Middleweight limit but it would give them a chance to become the lineal Middleweight champion, which was unthinkable at any point up until now.

If it's not Cotto, we have to hope Oscar and Bob really do patch things up quickly, or the likes of Alvarado can expect a call.

Three names and three names only on the short list...

    -Marquez if he beats Alvarado

    -Alvarado if he beats Marquez

    -Provodnikov if he beats Algeri

I doubt if Serg could make 154 and Cotto will not fight any lower. Pac stated on several occasions that he would not even go above 150 ever again. So a fight with either guy is not realistic. I do not think a fight with Alvarado will happen because recently lost to both Rios and Prov, a win over the aging JMM will not make him very marketable or even a challenge. Prov said he will not fight Pac because Freddy would side with Pac and he wants Roach in his corner. So that whole list does not make sense.

I cannot see him fighting Mike, it would be to hard of a sell on many levels and I stated earlier Prov said he will not fight him because of roach. Does he still fight Juan if he loses . . . i really do not think so.

Arum said it , not me

Alvarado won't beat Marquez anyway . I'm convinced of it. This shows my true confidence :

If Floyd doesn't fight maidana PAC should make that fight. Or a fight with khan, porter hell drop down and fight Garcia.
