I wanted to see the Alex Arthur fight and missed the whole thing :huh

Seen Paul's fight he did take a bit of a beating.

I went to the Laryea fight last March, think Arthur was on the one a few months prior.

I couldn't afford to go to the Evensen one. Was tempted to, but was too skint after buying my ex's Christmas gifts. If I'd known we were going to split up about 3 days before Christmas I'd have gotten tickets to the fights instead.

I was in Egypt when that fight was on, doctors orders.

Aye it was the Andreas Evensen I got ringside for.Splashed out a little as I had no boyfriend to buy a christmas gift for :yep And this year went away twice to watch Ricky with no fuss from men and even bought myself an xbox 360 for my christmas as no boyfriend this year to splash out on :yep Happy days :rasta

Trust me, if there's ever a choice between "women" and "boxing" again boxing is winning out. (Unless it's a female family member and she's in trouble or something, but even then it'd need to be dire straights.)

Going to these fights with my cousin's boyfriend. Tempted to get ringside seats, but dunno. Might just use that extra and go to some small hall shows instead. Quite fancy going to the show alba posted about in Wishaw featuring Eddie Doyle. Seen him on the Willie Limond undercard last summer, but dunno.

Aye dont let girls take over your free time, I have learned that with boys over the years. Always make time for the things you enjoy regardless what they say or if they dont like it.

Was that the one at the Kelvin Hall, I went to that one think it was only £40 a ticket, that Kris Carslaw was on that night to. the night with all the rabble in the stalls.

Aye, that's the very one. It was a good night, pity that those wee neds tried to spoil it as Willie was making his entrance. It put the dampener on the night seeing young weans cry all because of some neds like that.

I went with a mate, but was alone for the first few bouts as he couldn't get off from work early. I'd have went to more boxing last year except I didn't particularly want to go on my own. Dunno why though, as the idea doesn't bother me so much now.

Aye same here, thought I would never have went to anything on my own but you get used to it. And if you have good seats and good people next to you i just chat away to them.

The last one I went to in London the girl I went down with was only interested in seeing Ricky, but I wanted to watch all the fights especially because Billy Joe Saunders was on. I ended up chatting to the lads sat next to me more than I did her as they knew more and werent just going to be a Ricky groupie.

I remember being a bit surprised when I went to the Burns/Laryea fight and virtually nobody was there for DeGale's fight. Alright, that's maybe exaggerating but a lot of folk didn't bother their arse. I was genuinely happy to see an Olympic gold medalist live. Never mind the fact he's a bit meh as a pro and a bit of an arsewipe, it was a nice wee novelty.

Was gutted at not being able to afford to go to the Katsidis fight. After Nicky Cook was announced as Burns' opponent last summer I decided to skip a trip to Liverpool and booked up for a week in Amsterdam instead. The Katsidis fight was the week after I came back, and it was also the same day as my little cousin's birthday.

I went to Liverpool because of Tony Bellew,Frankie Gavin, Kevin Mitchell John Murray were all fighting. The girl I went with had just broke off with her boyfriend and I had split with my just over a year before but because I had been ill for a while before it I know now I should not have driven down there but I did and I ended up ill as a dog, dont know if it was the food I ate or the couple wines plus the illness but I actual thought I was going to die that night. Horrible and I only got to see frankies fight. Wasted time away.

Then the London Trip was because Katsidis, Paul smith George Groves but that weekend ended a little bit of disaster, I wouldnt do that again in a hurry. I went away for a relaxing time and came home with a migrain. But if there was ever going to be something good to see away again I would go myself no worries.
