Willie Pep was so fast, that he won a round without throwing a single punch. -And he told the press he was going to do beforehand! BTW true story.
Camacho gets the edge for me. He was fast of hands and feet. His left hand came so fast behind his jab I bet it felt like one punch was hitting you.
I just can't help thinking what if Jones Jr. was a welterweight. he was fast as not for a middleweight, Supper Mid, Lt. Hevy and Heavyweight. I imaign he would been imposible to hit if you translated those same speeds to 147.
He certainly wasn't a big puncher at all, but it has to be remembered that JCC was had better powers of recovery than JC. I also think that, while JCC's face looked no more ugly than normal, his brain and inner organs must have been utterly brutalised from all those punches. JCC is a freak of nature, regardless of Taylor's power.
a british journeyman you look at his record and go  but he had very very fast hands he is now a fat fat guy and can easily throw off 6 shot combo's he became a journeyman becuase he had a low stamina and basicly not a very talented bloke...but with what he has he can throw very very fast shots. i thought this was takign the thread away form "who was the fastest" in comparison to "who is fast"
