    Who?

    Is it Byrd?

    Is it Ibragimov?

    Is it Chagaev?

    Is it Chambers?

There's not much people left in the division...

Should it be Povetkin? Or Haye? Or Adamek?

There are no more names in the division...

Ali has Frazier, Frazier has Ali, Holyfield has Tyson, Bowe has Holyfield, Lewis has (old) Tyson, Johnson has (ancient) Jeffries, Holmes has Norton, Tyson has XXXX, Liston has Patterson, Patterson has Johansson, Marciano has Walcott/Moore, Louis has Schmeling, etc.

As we can see, the defining victory doesn't have to be over a great fighter (old Jeffries, old Tyson, Norton, Schmeling, Johansson, aren't great), but it has to be a recognizable name.

Wlad's defining victory should be Haye. Or maybe Wlad will be the defining victory of someone else?

I think his claim to fame with be longevity, not who he actually beat. Because really, other than adding Haye to his record, who else is there?

Byrd. He gave alot of people problems and was brutally Ko'ed. Not to mentioned avenging his brother's defeat at Byrd's hands.

It has to be Byrd. The man that beat his brother Vitali, the man the Lennox didnt fight.

If not, who? Haye and Povetkin are the only candidates, because Solis and Boytsov are too young.

unfortunately, there are no hof hws aside from his bro to achieve one career defining win.

so unifying all the titles after vitali retires should be wlad's goal. That would be a great accomplishment and he could then just retire on top.

Right now I don't know if Wlad has a defining win. He's making his career more from quanity then quality. Thats not to say he hasn't beaten some good fighters. Chagaev, Chambers, Sultan, and Peter were all good wins but his best is probably Byrd. Now, if Haye beats Ruiz and then Wlad beats Haye that would most likely be his defining win.

A fight with Haye will be his most anticipated fight and Haye will be rated as high if not higher than anyone he's fought before. Wlad-Haye might be the biggest heavyweight fight since Lewis-Tyson if it happens soon.

So far, Wlad's best win was over Ray Mercer. His second fight against Carlos Monroe ranks second in my book. Had he capitalized on having Samuel Peter on ***** street by punctuating it with a spectacular knockout (in the only fight in which he was a betting underdog, by the way), perhaps that would have been the one. Even though I'm a Wlad fan, I'd have to say his career-defining fight to date was Sanders, and he'll have to come up with something better soon to eclipse that in his legacy.

I would either go for Haye ore Adamek, besides his brother they are the most skilled he can met and who also has great knockout power

Wlad has to chase the WBA belt and the winner of Haye v Ruiz

If Wlad could pick up 3 belts then I wonder how far brotherly love would go?

Would Vitali vacate his belt provided Wlad gets first shot?

Looks like it would be Wlad v Solis.....would be an easy win on paper for Wlad.

Vitali would win nice guy of the year award and Wlad would be unified undisputed champ....Wlad could return the favour and vacate for Vitali.

Wont happen but it's better than Wlad waiting 2 years for Vitali to go.

The guy who would hand him the last strap to become undisputed.
