Who is picking Marquez to Beat Floyd?

The only point i disagree with here is counter punching i beleive Marquez to be the best counter puncher in the world , but would have to agree all other departments spot on !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Rooting for JMM, its tough to call but i just hope JMM pulls the victory.

 

I respectfully disagree.:good Although JMM is a great counter-puncher he's a level below the likes of PBF and Hopkins who are the best IMO..

 

Heart- This has to go to Marquez, when has JMM needed to be chased down in a fight or an opponent needed to cut the ring of to engage? Never, JMM fights with his heart on his sleeve. Floyd is more cerebral, defense come before heart. It will be a cold day in hell when Marquez resorts to back peddaling instead of showing heart and fighting his way outta trouble. Look at the fight against Juan Diaz, he was getting pushed back and getting nailed hard but keeped fighting through the pressure diaz applied.

in the Stamina department, I could be even. I agree I've never seen Floyd tired, Marquez has looked a little fatiged a few times. But Marquez fights at a higher pace than Floyd.

I feel Mayweather should pull out a victory, I'm sayin a UD. It's just hard for me to see Marquez move up so high in weight and still be as effective as he was. I could be wrong. It's new territory.

I like JMM and he's one of the best but he's not in PBF's class. He'll have no answer for PBF's speed, defense and counter-punching PBF by late round TKO.:deal

i am pickin floyd by stoppage around 10. i see floyd winning all rounds but maybe one or two and then stopping him late. marquez will put in a good effort but floyd to me is a bigger and better version of marquez. lookin forward to the fight though.

 

If Juan Diaz was giving hell to Marquez for most of their fight, I can't imagine PBF not doing at least as well offensively, all while not allowing Marquez to hit him clean for the most part.....

 

I would love marquez to do it but the weight gives floyd a massive advantage I think. So much rumour about the weight, what is the confirmed limit? 143? 144? Or 147?

 

Couple body shots from marquez and mayweather will be crying for help! If mayweather cant stand sparring during training, how much more with a full blown fighter!

 

I pick JMM in this fight. JMM has very good defense (maybe inferior to Floyd) but he is much better offensively. Marquez has better work rate and much higher KO rate which implies that he hits harder than Floyd does. Marquez has carried his power to the LW division, if he could carry it a little over 140, then it would be JMM by KO.

 

I want Marquez to win. He loves boxing with all his heart and really wants a legacy more than anything. I still think PBF will win though. I hope im wrong!
