You have mistaken my reasoning for having Hopkins over Calzaghe. I thought Hopkins won the fight, but it was not what I would classify as a "robbery" and I would only overturn blatant robberies for the purposes of rankings. When a fight is as close as Hopkins-Calzaghe, I tend to discount it entirely rather than overturn it. So I don't count that fight, so I judge them on the basis of their recent form. Hopkins has dominated linear lightheavyweight champion Antonio Tarver, became the first man in 8 years to beat Winky Wright, and produced a masterclass to shutout undefeated p4p#5 Kelly Pavlik. Calzaghe has slapped the diabolical Peter Manfredo to a premature stoppage, had one quality win over Mikkel Kessler, and slapped around the corpse of Roy Jones in a sham money fight. No contest IMO.
No, actually, I read it quite clearly. As I said that exactly mirrors my reasoning for personally ranking Marquez above Pacquaio. I scored the fight between them to Marquez and he scores higher on other recent opposition: Casamayor, Juarez, Barrera v Solis, Barrera, Diaz.
Manny PAcquaio is 3rd on my list. Cal is 1, Hopkins is 2, Pac is 3. Pac would be 4 if Floyd were still ranked pfp best.
I know lol. You have to understand, he uses ALT's to belittle anyone who disagrees with him, and he even analyzed Cal's opponents resume's lol.
