I don't think either of them has really priced themselves out to be honest.

Joshua offering a flat fee while a low ball offer was only ever meant to be the first stage of a negotiation, an offer to set the tone of the negotiation. It was never expected to be taken.

Wilder hasn't even bothered to engage in the negotiations, no counter offer, no demands, no tweets anymore about 50/50 or 60/40, no sign of him whatsoever. You can't really say he's priced himself out when he doesn't even have any demands other than to be left alone so he can fight Breazeale in quiet.

We'll as a starting offer Windmill has been offered 6x what he's ever been paid. Then responds ,finally, with a childish PR stunt.

Looks like the Wilder can carousel will continue.

    Go Runsquaaaad.

At this moment in time it doesnt seem to be about either of them pricing themselves out. Team Wilder are quite openly not interested in meeting or writing contracts at all, for any money. Wilder was right to turn down Hearns offer it was a flat fee offer. Joshua has been offered 50 million which he said yes to but he never demanded it and when asked to see a contract or atleast a draft one they hadnt done one and dont see how meeting to talk about it can be benificial to making this fight?

Joshua and Hearn are waiting on team Wilder. If team Wilder are serious about making the fight, which right now they clearly arent, things are only guna start rolling after this Breazeale fight. Fair enough though Braezeale fight rumoured to be in June and Wilders verbal offer to Joshua stated more towards the end of the year so its not a case of if he fights big Dom this year he cant face Joshua too.

Both are stalling IMO, but Hearn is doing a better job at pretending to try and sort this out.

    Let’s look at Joe Parker.

EH sets up negotiations with them. Duco or EH leaks them.
    JP/Duco reject the terms.

*NOTE HERE* at no point do the “b side” go conducting inferior deals against inferior fighters.

    Negotiations continue.
Duco try and force EH/AJ leak videos of him and try and wind him up.
    Eventually deal is made.

    Fight happens.

Duco and Joseph Parker WANTED that fight. It was quite clear. It’s also quite clear that Wilder and his merry gang DONT. look at how they’ve behaved compared to Parker. They’re not trying to force the fight. Put the 50 million in writing on the table with Eddie and he’s got no excuses left!

Another thing i dont understand about this offer, If they wanted Joshua and Hearn to commit to this deal now but for later in the year after Wilder has faced Breazeale surely Joshua is likely to take a fight too and that could be Miller or it could be Povetkin. What if he loses but has already committed to fighting Wilder? They guna pay him 50 million when he has a big L on his record and has no belts?

Or will there be a clause in the contract that states that should AJ lose his belts this contract is void? But then if that was the case its surely Hearn and Joshua would need to read before committing to anything. If somebody is asking you to sign on the line but wont show you what you are signing up for that is the time when you know you really need to read that contract, what are they not showing you?

What I don't get is what they were physically supposed to sign on, since no paperwork had been sent through. AJ already informally agreed through Instagram, yet apparently that wasn't good enough. So what were they actually meant to do to accept the offer?

boxing needs to start having the winner of the fight make the bigger share of the money. winner 65% loser 35%. you say the other guy is a bum who doesn't deserve that much? don't fight bums then.
