Depends on whether or not Povetkin is juiced to the gills. Could be a competitive fight for a couple rounds if he is.

    I agree.

Wilder would take AJ out within 3 rounds.

AJ - Povetkin should go at least 7 or 8.

That’s just it,if the Parker fight is anything to go by the Ref won’t let Povetkin get inside.

So are you saying in 2 years time Ortiz and Povetkin will still be top 3/4/5?

GTFOOH that is your list and it' dogshyte.

The fact Trey Morrison is in it proves it. He' fought absolutely no body.

Joshua legit out there fighting the best if this comes off... I hate him but credit to him.

I still rank Povetkin higher than Wilder and not sure how more don't.

That's probably AJ's blueprint for the rest of his career.
Only fight inside fighters, and always hire that crooked ref.

Povetkin has improved with age. He's better today, than he was when he fight Klitshcko. His Ring IQ has defintiely gotten higher. he's much sneakier now and has diversified his arsenal

@bruce_keyes, no, he's almost the same, just older, his speed is partially gone. But the problem with AJ is that he (Joshua) prefers to close the distance to finish his opponent. That can be very dangerous vs Povetkin. There will be all 12 rounds of the fight, most probably.

My point is for AJ it will be too risky to try to stop Povetkin, but he can win against him quite comfortably by decision.

Got to take my hat off to Anthony Joshua if he takes this fight.

I think Povetkin poses a massive threat & Joshua doesn't need to fight him but it looks like he's going to anyway.

I won't say it's a smart move taking this fight b/c I don't think it is but I do give him credit for taking on all comers.

Will certainly be tuning in when this one goes down.

UK v Russia - Let's get it on!
